Ship carrying 257 migrants sinks off Libya coast: report

CAIRO: A ship carrying 257 illegal migrants travelling to Europe has sunk 30 kilometres off the coast of Libya, Egyptian state news agency MENA said on Monday, quoting a foreign ministry official.Ahmed Rizq, responsible for consular affairs in the foreign ministry, said 20 passengers, including six Egyptians, were saved by Libyan rescue workers.The ship sank after setting from Sidi Bilal, near the capital Tripoli, on Sunday morning,
