New president elected to head Schuylkill Co. IU board

A change of seats took place for the office of president of one of the two boards of the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29 School District at the annual convention of school board members from the 11 public school districts in Schuylkill County and one from Dauphin County, held at the Maple Avenue Campus in Norwegian Township Monday night.

Theodore Heffner, of Blue Mountain School Board, replaced Richard L. Croneberger, of Schuylkill Haven, as president of the Area Vocational Technical School Board by a vote of 27 to 14.
